The role
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will design, build, and own the AI capabilities at the core of Ynteq’s CMMS platform. Your work will directly support technicians, planners, and reliability managers in planning, executing, and improving maintenance work.
This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who has shipped AI into production and understands how to turn models into trusted, everyday tools.
What you’ll work on
You will build and ship AI-powered features such as:
Smart work order creation from text, voice, and operational signals
Automatic classification of failures, causes, and actions
AI-assisted task breakdowns, checklists, and spare part suggestions
Maintenance prioritization and planning support
Pattern detection across historical maintenance and asset data
Workflow-native copilots embedded directly in daily maintenance flows
You’ll work end-to-end: from problem framing to production, evaluation, and iteration.
What we’re looking for
You are a senior engineer with strong technical depth and product judgment. You have:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant AI exposure
Proven experience shipping AI-powered features into production
Hands-on experience with LLMs and applied AI systems
Strong backend engineering skills (APIs, services, data pipelines)
Experience working with messy, real-world operational data
The ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between automation and control
A product mindset: you care about usability, trust, and outcomes
